Nouvelle Vague Information
Nouvelle Vague is a French cover band. The group’s current lineup consists of Olivier Libaux, Marc Collin, and various singers, led by Libaux and Collin. Several artists who performed with the band had successful solo careers, such as Nadeah Miranda, Melanie Pain, Phoebe Killdeer, and Camille. On August 9, 2004, Nouvell Vague released its self-titled debut album. The album gained commercial success and peaked at number 69 on the French album charts. According to the reports, in 2006, the album sold over 200,000 copies globally.
On June 14, 2006, Nouvelle Vague released its second album, Bande a Part. The album also gained commercial success. It reached number 23 in the French album charts, number 8 in Portugal, and 15 in the German charts. The album also reached number 79 in the UK Albums Chart. The band’s third studio album entitled 3 was released on June 16, 2009.
Other studio albums released by Nouvelle Vague include Couleurs sur Paris (2010), Athol-Brose EP (2016), I Could Be Happy (2016), and Algo Familiar EP (2017). The band has also released a few live albums, including Aula Magna 07.12.07 (2008) and Acoustic (2009).
Nouvelle Vague has also released some compilation albums, including The Best of Nouvelle Vague (2009), Best Of (2010), The Singers (2010), Rarities (2019), and Curiosities (2019).
