Moonrise Festival Information
Moonrise Festival is an annual EDM festival in Baltimore, Maryland. On June 8 and 9, 2013, the festival was planned in Port Covington. However, the festival was canceled because planners needed to secure city licenses.
Over 30,000 people attended the festival at Pimlico Race Course in 2014, making it a huge success. Bassnectar, The Chainsmokers, Zedd, and Tisto were among the performers at the festival in 2015 and 2016; both took place at the same venue on August 8-9 and 6-7. Festival goers could see headliners, including Zeds Dead, Pretty Lights, Carnage, and Dillstradamus, when they returned to Pimlico on August 12-13, 2017.
Headliners at the 2018 event included Marshmello, Diplo, and Cashmere Cat, and the festival took place on August 11-12. On August 10 and 11, 2019, the festival was back at the same site with Illenium, Excision, and Tisto headliners. The 2020 Moonrise Festival will be the first of a three-day event.
