Nasrollah Moein Najafabadi (January 20, 1952) is an Iranian pop and traditional music singer. He is professionally known as Moein, was born in Najafabad, Isfahan. From a young age, he expressed a strong desire to sing. Moin began his career when he was eighteen years old and was fortunate enough to study under several Iranian music legends for a while. In 1979, Moein presented his debut single, "Yeki Ra Doost Midaram," to the public in Tehran.
Its popularity quickly spread beyond Iran's borders, where it was recited by other Iranian singers who had emigrated to the United States following the revolution. Notable among these singers were Hayedeh, Ebi, and Aref. After years of hard labor, Moein suddenly became a famous vocalist with the publication of this song.
Miparastam, released in 1983, was his first album to get widespread attention in Iran. He started his artistic career as a radio singer and recorded several albums before that. The album's name was Ghazal. Over the past few years, Moein has performed at concerts worldwide and gained immense fame in Iran. They call him "Javdan Sedaye Eshgh," which means "The Eternal Voice of Love" in Persian. A peculiar talent of Moein's, connected to the underlying sadness and fire in his voice, allows him to present passionate and sad compositions.
