Mocedades Information
Mocedades is a Spanish singing quartet created in 1967 by four young Bilbao students. Inspired by Beatles songs and folk music, they formed Voces y Guitarras, which subsequently changed its name to Mocedades. They placed second in the Eurovision Festival with their song "Eres Tu," which was featured in Tommy Boy. Their song has over thirty-eight million Spotify streams and millions of YouTube views.
Having kept their sound throughout several vocalists and changeups, Mocedades is among the most successful ensembles in Spanish history. They topped the record charts and created popular songs like "Amor de Hombre," which appeared on Plácido Domingo's album.
Originally part of the group, Izaskun Uranga created his version of Mocedades with former members Rosa Rodríguez and Fernando Gonzalez. The fresh roster kept on traveling throughout the U.S. and beyond. They released the album Lo Mas Romantico De in 2021 to prove they remain as legendary as they were in the past.
