Mary Lynn Rajskub Information
Mary Lynn Rahskub (June 22, 1971) is an American comedian and actress born in Trenton, Michigan. She settled in Los Angeles and held various jobs, including serving at a Hard Rock Cafe and selling tickets at the Beverly Center. Rajskub's first role was as Raggedy Ann, but she had previously appeared as an Oompa-Loompa in a community theater performance of Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. Her 1996 music video appearances include Weezer's "The Good Life" and Beck's "The New Pollution."
Her role as CTU systems analyst Chloe O'Brian on 24 is her most recognizable, having begun in the 2003 show's third season premiere. After a successful third season, her character was one of the few to be brought back for a fourth. It wasn't until the fifth season when Rajskub, who had been a regular guest star for the previous two, was promoted to a regular cast member.
On two separate occasions (2005 and 2007), Rajskub was nominated for the SAGA for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series. She played Karen, an Art Garfunkel aficionado, in the "Prime Minister" episode of Flight of the Conchords. During the second season of ABC's Modern Family, Rajskub appeared in the episode "Our Children, Ourselves" in January 2011. The Rajskub-starring sitcom How to Be a Gentleman aired for only a few episodes in the fall of 2011.
