Maria Jose Loyola Anaya (January 12, 1976) is a Mexican television presenter, ballerina, flamenco dancer, athlete, and singer born in Mexico City, Mexico. María José earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications before gaining fame and prominence as a vocalist in the mid to late 1990s as a member of the iconic Mexican band Kabah. At fourteen, she made her theatrical debut under Maria Elena Anaya's Spanish Dance Company. She kept performing with the dance troupe, this time adding flamenco to her repertoire.
María José published the 2019 live album Conexión. The publication date was June 7, 2019, according to OCESA Seitrack. A small group of people were chosen to attend the performance in Mexico City, and their voices were captured on this album. In honor of José's breakthrough album Amante de lo Ajeno's tenth anniversary, the CD pays tribute to her career as a solo artist. In 2019, María José co-hosted the new drama series Esta Historia me Suena on Televisa with Jen Carlo Bautista and served as a judge on TV Azteca's México Tiene Talento. She also made cameo appearances as an actress in a few show episodes.
María José's return to TV Azteca was announced on January 21, 2020. She joined Ricardo Montaner, Belinda, and Christian Nodal as coaches of La Voz. Jesús Navarro, Edith Marquez, Miguel Bosé, and she returned for her last season in 2021.
