Lil Durk Information
Durk Derrick Banks (October 19, 1992) is an American singer and rapper better known by his stage name Lil Durk. He was born in Chicago, Illinois. Durk is the primary figurehead and creator of the "Only the Family" (OTF) record label and collective. In 2013 and 2014, he released a series of mixtapes named "Signed to the Streets," which attracted a devoted fan base.
This eventually led to his getting a record deal with Def Jam. "Remember My Name," Durk's first studio album, was released on June 2, 2015, and "Lil Durk 2X", his second studio album, was released on July 22, 2016. On May 8, 2020, Durk dropped "Viral Moment," his first single to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. He released other commercially successful tracks, including "The Voice," "Backdoor," and "3 Headed Goat."
Mixtapes such as "Supa Vultures," "Bloodas," "Signed to the Streets 2.5", and "Love Songs for the Street" were released by Durk in 2017. Durk and Lil Baby's album "The Voice of the Heroes" was released on June 4, 2021.
In 2023, "All My Life" became the first single on May 12. This is Durk's highest-charting single as a lead artist, debuting and peaking at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album's second single, "Therapy Session," first appeared on the Hot 100, and the former song reached No. 35. The album entered the charts at No. 3 and peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200.
