Leoni Torres Information
Leoni Torres (November 24, 1977) is a Cuban composer, music producer, and singer born in Camaguey, Cuba. In 1998, Torres started working in his hometown of Santa Cruz del Sur, Camagüey. He became a member of the Maravillas de Florida orchestra in 1999. David Calzado, head of Charanga Habanera, noticed Torres's work in this ensemble and invited him to sing with his orchestra.
Joined by Live Nation and Miami Late Night, Torres toured the United States in August 2019 as part of the Amor Bonito Tour, which the House of Blues presented. The tour continued into Europe, stopping in France, Spain, Italy, and Sweden. Since 2018, The Latin Recording Academy has presented the Latin Grammy, of which Torres is a member. Together with urban artist El Micha, Torres released Deja la Tristeza and Recordándote in 2020.
Daneon, a Colombian producer with credits including Marc Anthony, Will Smith, and Enrique Iglesias, is responsible for the production of this track. The Puntilla Music record company will publish the album, incorporating musical production by Leonardo Gil Milián, Kelvis Ochoa, and Leoni Torres. Ten songs make up the content, with "Miloca" as the first single. Five of these songs were written by Kelvis Ochoa, four by Torres, and one by Polo Montañez is also included.
