Landon McNamara was raised in a family of professional surfers on Oahu's North Shore. McNamara says, "I grew up in a surfing family because my dad and uncle are both professional surfers." He was free to be himself; that authenticity shines through almost every track.
Without them supporting me, I never would have had the guts to undertake what I've done. The 2nd of December saw the release of his first studio album. The album has soared to the top of the iTunes album charts and the fifth spot on Billboard's reggae album charts. Numerous media outlets, including Surfing, Surfline, VMAN.com, and many others, have run features on the phenomenon.
McNamara isn't only a talented musician and recently signed a modeling contract with LA's top agency, Ford. So far, he has starred in a major ad for American Eagle Outfitters and is featured in the company's "We All Can" campaign, which promotes the empowerment of young people across the United States.
