Lake County Captains Information
The Lake County Captains is an American Minor League Baseball team. The team is associated with the High-A Central and also the High-A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians. The Captains was founded in 1991 in Eastlake, Ohio. Following the 2009 season, the team joined the Class A Midwest League. The team plays its home games at Classic Park that has a seating capacity of 6,157. The Captains is currently owned and operated by Peter Carfagna, Rita Murphy Carfagna, & Ray Murphy.
The Captains was based in Columbus, Georgia, and at the time, the team was known as the Columbus RedStixx before 2003. The official color theme of the Captains’ uniform is white, light blue, and navy blue. From 1991 to 2002, the team played its home games at Golden Park.
