Kim Kyung-ho (June 7, 1971) is a South Korean singer. He was born in Mokpo, South Korea. Because of his long hair and femboyish appearance, he was initially dubbed Rock Unnie or National Sister. Still, he quickly became renowned as the National Rock Star with charisma on stage. In 1989, he first appeared on a KBS talent show, marking his debut on the Korean music scene. Long Goodbye, which appeared on his debut album, won a bronze medal at the MBC University Music Festival in 1991, where he performed for the first time.
Kim Kyung Ho, his 1995 first album did not do well commercially but was well received by lovers of Korean rock music. His second album, 1997's Kim:kyungho, was praised for its innovation, and the single "People Who Make Me Sorrow" became a commercial success, propelling him to fame. Since then, he's become a household name thanks to smashing singles including "Forbidden Love," "Heartless," "Until the day we love sweetly," "My Love, Even In The Heavens," "Though I Love You," "Wine," and "Father."
Kim Kyung-ho regained his fame by appearing on variety shows and various televised singing competitions, sometimes accompanied by a group of seasoned professionals from the music business. He became known as "Rock Unnie" after appearing on the popular show I Am a Singer in September 2011, thanks to his long hair and energetic performances.
