Judith Owen Information
Judith Owen is a Welsh singer-songwriter from London whose first North American album was entitled Emotions on a Postcard, released in 1996. She is the co-founder of Twanky Records with her husband, Harry Shearer. Judith Owen performed on Mountain Stage by West Virginia Public Radio, on September 10, 2006. On June 17, 2007, she was interviewed on NPR Weekend Edition Sunday, in which Owen performed several of her songs from her album Happy This Way, released that year.
In 2008, Owen released another notable album entitled Mopping Up Karma, followed by her compilation album named The Beautiful Damage Collection in 2010. A three-song live video performance premiered on LiveDaily Sessions, on September 18, 2008. It featured songs "I Promise You," "Creatures," and "Let's Hear It For Love."
Owen performed "Creatures of Habit" on October 25, 2008, on Public Radio International's What d'Ya Know and Michael Feldman. She has recorded and toured with Richard Thompson and appeared on his albums entitled The Old Kit Bag and Sweet Warrior and even appeared on BBC Breakfast alongside Ruby Wax on February 10, 2011.
