Jermaine Fowler (May 16, 1988) is an American comedian, actor, and writer. He is best known for appearing as a star in Coming 2 America and on Superior Donuts’ CBS television series. Fowler is the second oldest of his four siblings. His twin brother was born in Washington, D.C., and grew up in Hyattsville, Maryland. Fowler completed his graduation from Northwestern High School. At 20, he dropped out of college and went to New York City. He searched for a job by day and performed local open mics in Times Square at night.
Fowler started touring the country in 2012 and performed at comedy clubs and colleges. He was also cast in MTV2’s Guy Code and starred, produced, and wrote the pilots in 2013. Fowler also appeared as a star in Friends of the People in 2014. It lasted for around two seasons on TruTV. He further starred and produced in his debut comedy special in 2015 entitled, Give ‘Em Hell, Kid.
Fowler also started his career as an executive producer and the star of Superior Donuts in 2017. The show went so successful that it was renewed for a second season on March 23, 2017. Fowler also performed as an announcer of the 69th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards on September 17, 2017.
