Hoodcelebrityy (July 4, 1991) is a Jamaican dancehall singer and songwriter. She was born in Portmore, Jamaica. When Pinnock was 12 years old, her family relocated to The Bronx in New York. She worked at a clothing store and posted 15-second freestyle videos on Instagram before becoming famous. When a friend and future collaborator Cardi B blogged about her song "Wine Pon It" in 2015, HoodCelebrityy's career took off. Soon later, the song became viral.
HoodCelebrityy appeared on the Jubilee song "Wine Up" in 2016. Later, she would be signed by KSR Group, a management and record business. She appeared on the song "Back It Up" from Cardi B's mixtape Gangsta Bitch Music, Vol. 2, which also included Konshens, in January 2017. She released "The Takeover," the opening track on her debut mixtape, Can't Believe It's Just a Girl, in the same month. In the spring of that year, the mixtape was made available.
HoodCelebrityy earned a record deal with Epic Records in May 2018. She and Tory Lanez appeared on the Megan Ryte song "On & On" later that month. She performed at the Summer Jam 2018. HoodCelebrityy published the song "Bum Pon It" on her official Youtube website on August 30, 2019. The song is played on many occasions worldwide and is geared toward women.
