Hillsong Worship is a Christian music praise & worship group consisting of Geoff Bullock, Jonathon "JD" Douglass, Brooke Ligertwood, Annie Garratt, Benjamin Hastings, Joel Houston, Reuben Morgan, Renee Sieff, Laura Toggs, David Ware, Matt Crocker, Tyler Douglass, Ben Fielding, Jad Gillies, Hannah Hobbs, Aodhan King, Marty Sampson, Taya Smith-Gaukrodger, Melodie Wagner-Mäkinen, and Darlene Zschech. In 1983, the band started making music at Hillsong Church in Sydney, Australia. Formerly, the group was known as Hillsong Live.
Hillsong Worship released their first album in 1988, entitled, Spirit and Truth. The group then released a series of albums including Show Your Glory, Stone's Been Rolled Away, Shout to the Lord, The Power of Your Love, Friends in High Places, By Your Side, Touching Heaven Changing Earth, People Just Like Us, God Is in the House, For All You've Done, You Are My World, Mighty to Save, Glorious Ruins, All Things Are Possible, Hope, Blessed, For This Cause, God He Reigns, Saviour King, This Is Our God, A Beautiful Exchange, Faith + Hope + Love, Cornerstone, God Is Able, No Other Name, and Glorious Ruins.
Since 1983, Hillsong Worship has recorded 29 albums, both live and in the studio. All of their songs are considered as the most performed music in venues and churches all over the world. Their albums have been recorded by the labels; Sony Music, Hillsong Music, Sparrow Records, Epic Records, Integrity Music, and Columbia Records.
All of the Hillsong Worship’s albums have charted in Australia since 2004. Four of their albums got charted on Christian Albums charts and Billboard 200 charts. Two of their albums have reached no.1 on the Australian ARIA Albums Chart. They won the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song in 2018 with What a Beautiful Name. The group won an award of Worship Song of the Year for “Who You Say I Am" in 2019 GMA Dove Awards.
