GHENGAR Information
GHENGAR was created by the artist David Lee Crow, who is also recognized as GHASTLY. It is an indie music project. Crow produced goth-infused metal music with the band The Irish Front before the release of GHENGAR's first EP, NECromancer (2022). Following the group breakup, the musician went solo for the first time with the EDM-infused song The Mystizing Oracle (2018). Following his sophomore release, Haunted Haus, Crow headed the road for a tour.
When he debuted his alter persona, GHENGAR, moving toward a heavier dubstep sound, the idea he developed shifted once again. Growing up on a dairy farm in Phoenix, Arizona, Crow dreamed of a music career and started recording and producing songs before he was thirteen. He was traveling with Drezo, turning out songs like "Count Dankula" by 2022.
GHENGAR published the five-track EP Sacrosanct in 2024, including tracks like "Click, which attracted almost 100,000 streams on Spotify." Popular Spotify playlists such as "Dubstep Don" and "Bass Lounge" also incorporate the DJ's music. GHENGAR appeared live with VASTIVE the same year, and he keeps visiting the tour circuit, showing up at places like Minneapolis, Minnesota's Skyway Theatre.
