Gary LeVox Information
Gary LeVox (July 10, 1970) is an American singer and songwriter. He was born in the Ohio town of Powell. LeVox's first musical performance was in a church play when he was eight. He attended Ohio State University and graduated from Olentangy High School. In 1997, LeVox went to Nashville, Tennessee, after being persuaded by his cousin.
In vocalist Chely Wright's band, LeVox and his second cousin, Jay DeMarcus, began out together. Joe Don Rooney stepped in one day when the regular guitarist was unavailable. The three men claim to have felt chemistry right together and formed Rascal Flatts.
Since the mid-1990s, LeVox has been acquainted with Jamie Foxx, who made a guest appearance on Still Feels Good's album. From the age of 14, LeVox worked in his neighborhood burger joint. He formed an AC/DC cover band with several of his boyhood buddies. Since 1999, LeVox has been married to Tara Vernon.
