Frank Turner Information
Francis Edward Turner (December 28, 1981) is an English punk and folk singer and songwriter. He got his start singing lead for the post-hardcore band Million Dead. After they broke up in 2005, he went solo, focusing mostly on acoustic music.
Turner began his musical career on the piano as a child and taught himself guitar when he was eleven. After he persuaded his parents to purchase Killers and a guitar, he developed his passion for music after seeing an Iron Maiden poster on his friend's bedroom wall while playing Warhammer.
FTHC, released on February 11, 2022, was Turner's ninth studio album, which he officially announced on September 16, 2021. The announcement also included a new song titled "Haven't Been Doing So Well" and the statement that he and The Sleeping Souls embarked on a "The Never Ending Tour of Everywhere" beginning in January 2022.
After its release, FTHC soared to the top of the official UK album chart, marking Turner's first number-one album. His first album, Eating Before Swimming, Playtime with Christopher and Francis Volume 1, was released on August 19, 2022, by him and his pal Chris Blake, who makes music as Palest Boy at School.
