Faizon Andre Love (June 14, 1968) is a Cuban-American comedian and actor. He was born in Santiago de Cuba. Due to his father's employment in the United States Navy, he was reared in two different cities—Newark, New Jersey, and Southeast San Diego, California—and has classified himself as a military brat. He completed his secondary education at San Diego's Morse High School. Love began his career in comedy at the tender age of fifteen and went on to star in his first off-Broadway production when he was nineteen years old.
After this, in 1995's Friday, he played the character of drug supplier Big Worm, a huge breakthrough for him. 3 Strikes, Elf, Money Talks, Wonderland, The Fighting Temptations, Idlewild, and Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood are some of the sequels released. The 2001 Ludacris album Word of Mouf track "Freaky Thangs" featured Love as a guest star.
He starred with another actor in the comedic picture Couples Retreat (2009), about four couples who go to a resort on an island for therapy. He also appeared in a 2012 mock trailer for The Wire: The Musical, playing the role of Stringer Bell. In June of that year, he began appearing in ads for Boost Mobile's new 4G phones.
