Eugene Ballet Company (EBC), based in Eugene, Oregon, is a resident company of the Hult Center for the Performing Arts. The company tour throughout the Northwest US. Eugene Ballet Company is under the Artistic Direction of Toni Pimble with a lineup that consists of 20 members who perform a blend of contemporary and classical work. They are working along with educational programs witnessed by an audience of 75,000+ in travels.
Eugene Ballet Company is one of only two northwest companies that are part of the Western States Arts Federation touring program. For the past six years, it has been funded by the National Endowment for the Arts Dance Company Program. Their repertoire consists of many full-length ballets that range from classical ballets to the Romantic period, such as The Sleeping Beauty and Swan Lake. Also, the contemporary pieces such as Alice in Wonderland of Pimble, Charles Bennett Dracula, and Children of the Raven.
Eugene Ballet Company also presents many half-program pieces that are choreographed by Pimble and other well-known choreographers, including Vasili Sulich, Charles Bennett, Bruce Marks, Lynda Martha, and Lynne Taylor-Corbett. The company continues to provide quality and professional dance performances as well as innovative educational services to a broad-based audience in Oregon.
