Eric Prydz Information
Eric Sheridan Prydz (July 19, 1976), also known by his many aliases, including Pryda, is a Swedish DJ and music producer. His subsequent singles "Proper Education"(2007), "Pjanoo" (2008), and "Opus" (2015) all maintained his popularity after his 2004 breakthrough track "Call on Me" catapulted him to stardom. His self-titled debut album was published in 2016. He received two nominations for 2017's Electronic Music Awards, one for Live Act of the Year and another for DJ of the Year.
Prydz unveiled Epic 6.0 on July 19, 2019. A multi-story, eight-meter-wide transparent LED heliosphere encircled Prydz during his performance at Tomorrowland festival, marking the latest installment of his EPIC series. A total of 72 handcrafted panels interlocked to form the spherical, and its more than 2.4 million LEDs shone like electric bolts, planets from another galaxy, and galactic explosions.
When the 22nd Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival took place in April 2023, Prydz performed HOLO.
Most of Prydz's music can be found on his record labels, which he runs alongside his production work. These labels include Pryda, Pryda Friends, Pryda Presents, and Mouseville. As Pryda, he puts out songs on the original Pryda. Under the alias Cirez D., he has been releasing techno music on Mouseville Records since 2002.
