Donald Clark Osmond (December 9, 1957) is a multi-talented American who rose to fame as a teen idol and is now known for his work in television hosting, singing, dancing, and acting. He became prominent when he and four older brothers formed the band The Osmonds, which achieved chart success and record certification. Afterward, Osmond began a solo career in the early 1970s, scoring many more top-10 singles.
Donny and Marie, a variety show he co-hosted with his sister Marie Osmond from 1976 to 1979, catapulted him to even greater popularity. In addition to hosting a syndicated chat show nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award from 1998 to 2000, the couple known as Donny & Marie also recorded a string of top 10 songs and gold albums.
March 2019 saw Osmond appear on Hiking with Kevin, Kevin Nealon's YouTube series. Beginning with a snowy hike in Utah's Sundance Resort, the webisode follows the two as they make their way down the Las Vegas Strip to Osmond's return to the Flamingo Hotel's Donny & Marie Showroom, where Nealon was scheduled to play that night. Osmond appeared as a celebrity panelist in episode 5 of the inaugural season of Fox's I Can See Your Voice in 2020, which aired on November 4.
