Deep Sea Diver Information
Deep-Sea Diver is another famous American pop-rock band. The group is currently based in Seattle, Washington. The current lineup consists of Peter Mansen (drums), Jessica Dobson (vocals, guitar, keys), and Elliot Jackson (guitar, synthesizer). New Caves was the first extended play by the band recorded by Dobson under the official band name, Deep Sea Diver. The EP was released in 2009. Dobson accompanied drummer and husband Peter Mansen while working on this EP.
Deep-Sea Diver released its first debut full-length album entitled History Speaks. This debut album was self-released under their label, which they named High Beam Records. The album came out in 2012. During this time, Dobson was a prominent touring member of The Shins' band. The first album by the band was followed by another release entitled Secrets. It was also self-published in the year 2016. "Stop Pretending" is the only single by the band recorded and released during the COVID-19 lockdown in April 2020.
Impossible Weight was the third full-length album by the band released in 2020. It was a big success for the band and was voted Top Album of 2020 by the notableKEXP Seattle Listeners.
