Crossfit Games Information
The CrossFit Games are an annual sports competition organized and run by CrossFit, LLC. At the Games, competitors participate in several events, including metabolic conditioning, weightlifting, and gymnastics, among other typical CrossFit activities. Designed to test the competitors' fitness according to CrossFit's standards, the events are often kept under wraps until the Games begin, and they may contain unexpected components that push the athletes to their limits.
The first tournament occurred in 2007; it has occurred annually, often during the summer. Shortly after the CrossFit Games began, it was moved to the Home Depot Center in Carson, California, because of its success. The first site was a ranch near Aromas, California, with just a handful of competitors and spectators.
The CrossFit Games will move from Madison, Wisconsin, to Fort Worth, Texas's Dickies Arena for the 2024 season. The Games this year are set to center on the team and individual categories, while the other categories will compete independently. Separate from the CrossFit Games are scheduled the 2024 Masters' Championship and the Teens' Pit Teen Throwdown, respectively, for the finals of the two divisions.
