Craig Morgan Information
Craig Morgan Greer (July 17, 1964) is an American country music artist from Kingston Springs, Tennessee. At the age of 18, he became an EMT and served on active duty for over nine years in the US Army, serving as a member of the 101st and 82nd Airborne Divisions. When he returned to Tennessee, Morgan started working different jobs to support his family. His jobs included a security guard, a construction worker, and a Wal-Mart employee.
Later on, Morgan got some jobs in Nashville singing demos for other songwriters and publishing companies. In 2000, the demos made him release his first album with Atlantic Records, which was a self-titled one with his music being defined as country since then. Later on, he signed to the independent Broken Bow Records. Morgan released three albums on this label entitled 2003's I Love It, 2005's My Kind of Livin', and 2006's Little Bit of Life. A few of the chart hits included in these albums are "That's What I Love About Sunday," "Almost Home," "Redneck Yacht Club," "International Harvester," "Love Remembers," "Little Bit of Life," and "Bonfire."
Some of the notable studio albums by Morgan are Greatest Hits (2008), That's Why (2008), This Ole Boy (2012), The Journey (Livin' Hits) (2013), A Whole Lot More to Me (2016), and God, Family, Country (2020). Morgan also frequently performs at military bases in the US, abroad, and on USO tours. He earned the 2006 USO Merit Award for his tireless support of US soldiers and their families.
