Andrew Molina Information
Andrew Molina is an American musician who started playing the ukulele when he was 13 years old. Molina’s love and passion for this small instrument can be seen in his playing and songwriting abilities. “The Beginning” is the first CD by Molina on which he composed 8 of the 11 songs. The CD ended up being a finalist in the “Ukulele Album of the Year” category at the Na Hoku Hanohano Awards in 2014.
A few of Molina’s hit songs included on “The Beginning” have been used in a promotional video for Ocean Vodka by Maui. His original song named “E Ho’i Ke Aloha” was selected for an indie film shot in Hawaii; additionally, a music video was selected for a promotional video on inflight entertainment on Hawaiian Airlines.
“A New Journey” was the second CD by Molina released in 2017. In this CD, Molina composed 10 of the 14 songs. Some of the special friends and ukulele masters who performed along with him include Kalei Gamiao, Jake Shimabukuro, and Craig Chee on cello. Two songs from his second CD were featured in one of the 2017 indie film named “Revenge in Kind.”
