Adam Cayton-Holland (June 2, 1980) is an American stand-up comedian from Denver, Colorado. In 2003, Adam Cayton-Holland began performing stand-up comedy at open mic nights in Denver's seedier watering holes. Against nearly two hundred other hopeful comics, Cayton-Holland won the 2006 Comedy Works New Talent showcase.
In 2012, Esquire named Cayton-Holland one of the 25 best new stand-up comics. The same year, he appeared on the Nerdist podcast and a cameo on the ABC program Happy Endings after being invited to the prestigious New Faces competition at Montreal's Just for Laughs Comedy Festival. (TV series). A member of The Grawlix, Cayton-Holland was recognized as one of Variety's "10 Comics to Watch" in 2015. He first performed stand-up comedy on Conan in 2013; then, in February 2014, he was on The Pete Holmes Show.
Soon after, he made a second journey to South by Southwest, where he was interviewed for the podcast Comedy Bang! Bang! and faced off against Baron Vaughn and Rove McManus on the late-night talk show @midnight. After beating Beth Stelling and Nate Bargatze on September 17, 2014's broadcast of @midnight, Cayton-Holland returned on April 14, 2015, to take on Megan Neuringer and Kurt Braunohler.
