Adalberto Javier Ramones Martinez (December 3, 1961) is a Mexican comedian and television presenter. He was born in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon. During the "Reto Burundis" in Otro Rollo on October 10, 2002, he was involved in an accident where he caught fire. Ramones was hospitalized after being burned in numerous places during the filming of his act in February 2003. For a while afterward, he was forced to use corrective lenses.
In September that year, he presided over a contest called La pesera del Amor, in which a man chose his future wife from a group of ladies. On July 30 that year, American pop diva Britney Spears performed at his event. Ramones said he would broadcast the couple's wedding and that the show would pay for it if they won the contest. Later, la pesera del Amor became a staple, and more people entered to win the chance to find love.
For his performance in Puos rosas in 2005, he was nominated for a Mexican MTV Movie Award in the category of Favorite Actor. In addition, he hosted the talent competitions Cantando por un sueo and Bailando por un sueo on television. He played the character of Leo Bloom in a Mexican version of Mel Brooks's The Producers in December 2006. On May 8, 2007, the final episode of Otro Rollo con: Adal Ramones aired.
