People are magically brought together by fate. Consider the instance of Acoustic Eidolon's Joe and Hannah. Hannah, a studio cellist, was asked to contribute to a Boulder ensemble's recording in 1995. When Hannah followed the directions to the recording studio, she was astounded to learn that she needed to turn on a side road close to her house before turning down her street past her home.
Joe and Hannah found themselves without full-time musical commitments a few years after meeting. Joe called Hannah and expressed his desire to hear the cello and guitjo playing unison. He had a hunch Hannah's soft cello and the guitjo's harp-like tone would make a lovely combination. They consequently played together for the first time on a snowy day in February 1998. The subsequent events were magical. As soon as Joe and Hannah heard the music they had made together, they decided to start full-time rehearsals, clear their schedules, and form what would eventually become Acoustic Eidolon.
But Hannah and Joe's story with fate wasn't over yet. Their friendship and a joint venture in music and business eventually led to their marriage on October 14, 2001. Hannah and Joe started a family with their kids, Zach and Alex. Their music conveys their zest for life and their love for one another.
