It is located at 2155 Red Butte Canyon Road, Salt Lake City, Utah. Red Butte Garden Amphitheatre has a seating capacity of approximately 3,000. It is built as an expansion of Red Butte Garden and Arboretum, which first opened to the general public in 1985. Red Butte Amphitheatre added as an expansion was itself opened in the year 1990-1991. Currently, it is owned and operated by the University of Utah. Paul Brown designed its beautiful architecture of the venue co-relating with the garden.
