Minglewood Hall was named after a classic blues song by Noah Lewis entitled “Minglewood Blues,” first recorded in Memphis in 1928. The building where the Hall is currently housed was previously a bread factory. It has also been used as the Memphis Designers’ Showcase and church. The building even served as a music store from 1999 to 2008.
