Simon Oliver Sinek is a British-American author, organizational consultant, motivational speaker. He was born on October 9, 1973, in Wimbledon, London. Simon is 46 years old. He is known to be a leadership guru, founder of SinekPartners, along with a professor at Columbia University. He is famous for popularizing the concept of The Golden Circle and to Start With Why.
Sinek studied law at London's City University. But later, he left law school to go into advertising. Simon Sinek got his Bachelor’s degree (BA) in cultural anthropology from Brandeis University. Before he co-founded the Sinek Partners, he began his career at Euro RSCG and Ogilvy & Mather, a New York ad agency.
Simon Sinek has written several best-selling books. His first book was “Start With Why” (2009). Simon’s other books include: Leaders Eat Last (2014), Together Is Better (2016), Find Your Why (2017), The Infinite Game (2019), and a few more.
Sinek is famous for popularizing the concept of WHY that he explained in his very first TED Talk in 2009. It became the third most-watched talk on TED.com of all time, with over 46 million views along with subtitled in around 48 languages. Sinek has also delivered lectures at The UN Global Compact Leaders Summit.
Sinek has also written and commented for local as well as for the national press, including The New York Times, CMO Magazine, The Washington Post, Houston Chronicle, Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, NPR, and the Bloomberg BusinessWeek. He also had the honor of sharing his unique ideas at the United States Congress, the United Nations, and the senior-most leaders of the United States Air Force, Navy, Army, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard.
