Robert Irvine Information
Robert Paul Irvine (September 24, 1965) is an English talk show host and celebrity chef from England. He was raised in Wiltshire, UK. Irvine began his official cooking career when he was only 15. He enlisted in the UK's Royal Navy after having culinary training. He also served aboard Her Majesty's Royal Yacht Britannia. After completing his 10-year tour of duty, Irvine started performing consultant work in Jakarta, Bali, and Ho Chi Minh City. Soon he became Executive Chef aboard in several establishments and cruise ships, for example, Trump's Taj Mahal. He also culminated with the five-star MS Crystal Harmony.
Irvine initiated his official television career on Fit for a King on Food Network. The show was later retitled Dinner: Impossible before the broadcast. In this show, Irvine was given a long list of challenges throughout the entire show. In December 2017, Irvine was seen in the episode of Iron Chef America with Tyler Florence. The two were in a dessert battle (their theme ingredient was sugar). The two men competed against Paula Deen and Cat Cora but unfortunately lost the show.
Irvine is also known for hosting a few popular Food Network programs. Some of the top ones are Dinner: Impossible, Restaurant: Impossible, Worst Cooks in America, A Hero's Welcome, Chopped: Impossible, All-Star Academy, Operation Restaurant, Guy's Grocery Games, and Restaurant Express. Currently, Irvine operates two restaurants, Fresh Kitchen within The Pentagon and Robert Irvine's Public House at the Tropicana resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. He also launched a daytime talk show named The Robert Irvine Show.
