Tasha Cobbs Leonard is a gospel artist from the U.S. who has won several awards for her expressive singing and moving performances. She was born on July 7, 1981, in Jesup, Georgia, into a very religious household and had a natural talent for singing from a young age.
With the release of 2012's "Break Every Chain," Tasha Cobbs shot to fame. Included on her first album with a big label, "Grace," the song became a gospel hymn and received tremendous praise shortly after its release.
The Grammys awarded her Best Gospel/Contemporary Christian Music Performance because her powerful voice and the song's message struck a chord with listeners.
In addition to her fame as a musician, Tasha Cobbs Leonard is a dynamic and influential worship leader. Her deep connection to the spiritual aspects of her music is the source of the ethereal worship atmosphere she generates during her live performances.
