Clayton English is a stand-up comedian, writer, and actor who grew up in Atlanta. He initially gained widespread recognition when he has crowned the 2015 winner of NBC's "Last Comic Standing" competition. Since then, he has been a constant headliner at venues such as comedy clubs, universities, and festivals across the country. Comedic legends like Dave Chappelle and Bill Burr have used Clayton as a guest star. He was recognized as a New Face at the Montreal JFL Comedy Festival.
Clayton made his late-night stand-up debut on Late Night with Seth Meyers. He has since appeared on many other shows, such as "LOVE" on Netflix, "AP Bio," "Brooklyn 99," "Comedy Knockout," "Netflix Is a Joke," "Wild N Out," and even Will Smith's viral Snapchat series, "Will from Home." His role as "Grills" in the 2021 Hawkeye series marked his official introduction to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He also played in the web series "Dope Movies," which aired on Comedy Central. His work may be found in such diverse places as "AP BIO," "Wild N Out," and "The 85 South Show," which will host the 2020 BET Awards.
