Chelsea Joy Handler (February 25, 1975) is an American producer, television host, writer, comedian, and actress born in Livingston, New Jersey. From 2002 through 2005, Handler was a cast member on the Oxygen hidden camera reality T.V. series Girls Behaving Badly. Handler has also made guest appearances on shows like My Wife and Kids, The Practice, and Weekends at the D.L. On top of her work as a correspondent for The Tonight Show, she also contributed commentary on E! and Scarborough Country.
On September 27, 2021, Handler and Jo Koy, a comedian, announced their romance with an Instagram post. Separation followed. In an interview with Playboy magazine published in 2016, Handler discussed a second abortion she had at age 16 that she had kept secret from The New York Times.
In or around 2011, Handler dated the famed rap star 50 Cent. After two years of on-and-off dating, Chelsea Late Show host Chelsea Handler confirmed her breakup with hotelier Andre Balazs on October 3, 2013.
