The Dallas Cup is a youth football competition that takes place once a year and is open to teams worldwide. The competition has been going on since 1980 and is now staged in Dallas, Texas, with FC Dallas acting as the host club for the event. The tournament occurs at various locations, including the Cotton Bowl and Toyota Stadium.
The boys' tournament at the Dallas Cup features divisions ranging from U-12 to U-19. In contrast, the girls' tournament at the Dallas Cup Girls' Invitational, presented by Mary Kay, features age categories from U-15 to U-19. The Dallas Cup hosts both tournaments.
FC Midtjylland, the reigning champion, currently leads the premier U19 Gordon Jago Super Group. St. Thomas More, an English club team from South London, won the U14 cup in the very first Dallas Cup, and since then, elite international play has been a central component of the tournament.
