The event is also known as the Western & Southern Open. It takes place every summer in Mason, Ohio, just outside Cincinnati. The tournament is famous for being part of the hard-court season leading up to the US Open. Big stars like Roger Federer, Serena Williams, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic have all played and won here.
