Zdravko Colic Information
Zdravko Colic (May 30, 1951) is a Bosnian-Serbian pop singer. He was born in Sarajevo, PR Bosnia and Herzegovina, FPR Yugoslavia. Oli went to elementary education in the Skenderija neighborhood of Sarajevo, which is close to his home in the neighboring Grbavica neighborhood. Additionally, he went to a music academy to hone his guitar skills. He enjoyed performing, so he participated in several school performances and even a couple of plays at the Pionirsko Pozorite (youth theatre).
Oli's interest in music began at a very early age. He and his buddy Braco Isovi became known as "Ola i Isa sa Grbavice" (Guitar and Isa from Grbavice) after playing guitar at ad hoc park meetings in the area. Pop schlager music, popular at events in Yugoslavia and Italy at the time, inspired Oli. His first passion was a Belgrade native named Milena Mijatovi.
At the Va lager sezone Competitive Festival in Sarajevo on April 15, 1972, Oli debuted as a single performer. He took home third place in the public vote and first place in interpretation for his performance of "Sino nisi bila tu," a song written by Kemal Monteno and initially intended for Josipa Lisac. Right immediately, Oli's popularity skyrocketed under Kova's tutelage. On May 20, 1972, the two appeared as guests on the popular TV Belgrade variety show Obraz uz Obraz, hosted by Milena Dravi and Dragan Nikoli.
