Yung Pinch (April 6, 1997) is an American singer, songwriter, and rapper. He is known initially as Blake Chandler Sandoval. Yung Pinch belongs to Huntington Beach, California. He began listening to Eminem and East Coast hip hop when he was in the eighth grade. Yung Pinch grew up under the supervision of his grandparents as his parents were high drug users; hence, living with them could not work for him. Living with his grandparents made him a responsible teenager. This also made him perform well at School. He started to perform as a rapper at local parties when he was in the ninth grade.
Yung Pinch began recording with Brandan “Matics” Maddox, who was introduced to him by one of his friends. They started publishing songs on SoundCloud such as “When I Was Yung” and “Rock With Us.” The songs were released in July 2016. Yung Pinch released his first album “714Ever” on August 19, 2016, through SoundCloud. The album brought breakthroughs in Pinch’s career. Since after the release, his videos gained millions of views.
In 2017 and 2018, Pinch continued to release his mixtapes. On August 28, 2017, he released his debut studio album called “4EVERFRIDAY Szn One”. In the same year, he signed with Columbia Records. Yung Pinch was featured in the song “I Know You” by Lil Skies, released on May 31, 2018. The song peaked at number 79 on the Billboard Hot 100. This also became the first single for Pinch to enter into the charts.
Pinch has just released his recent album on January 17, 2020, called “Back 2 the Beach”.
