Yellow Claw Information
Yellow Claw is a Dutch records production and DJ duo based in Amsterdam. The current lineup of the pair consists of Jim Taihuttu and Nils Rondhuis. The duo's music is a mash-up of several genres, with elements of trap, hip hop, dubstep, hardstyle, and moombahton frequently appearing. Yellow Claw rose to prominence in the middle of 2010 after creating and organizing a night party at the Jimmy Woo, one of Amsterdam's most famous nightclubs.
They had several hit singles that appeared on the Dutch and Belgian national charts in 2012 and 2013, including "Last Night Ever," "Thunder," "Nooit Meer Slapen," and "Krokobil." The singles' music videos were successful, with each receiving over four million views on YouTube. Yellow Claw played at many Dutch events during that period, including the DirtyDutch Festival, Sneakerz Festival, Latin Village Festival, and Solar Festival.
Yellow Claw signed to Diplo's Mad Decent label in 2013. They released their debut worldwide EP, Amsterdam Trap Music, on March 7, 2013. They played on BBC Radio 1's Diplo and Friends in June and at the 2013 Tomorrowland Festival in July. They released their second EP, Amsterdam Twerk Music, on September 26, 2013.
Blood for Mercy, Yellow Claw's debut studio album, was released in 2015. Los Amsterdam, Yellow Claw's second studio album, was released on March 31, 2017. New Blood, their third studio album, was released on June 22, 2018. Yellow Claw released their fourth studio album, Never Dies, on January 31, 2020.
