Will Banister was born in New Mexico and raised roughly 20 miles from the Texas border while listening to his father's cassette tapes of Merle Haggard, Hank Williams, George Strait, and Brooks and Dunn in the truck. This profoundly influenced the music of Banister. Will's music is reminiscent of country radio from the '90s, thanks to the combination of nostalgic lyricism and modern instrumentation (fiddle and steel).
Banister has toured extensively throughout the United Kingdom and Europe, performing all over the United States. Released on January 27, 2023, "Right Where We Belong" was written by Roger Springer, Jeff Hyde, and Banister and is his newest son.
