Victor Calderone Information
Victor Calderone (March 20, 1967) is an American remixer, DJ, and electronic music producer. Calderone grew up in Brooklyn's Bensonhurst neighborhood and was introduced to the city's nightlife by his elder brother, Cesar, who worked in the club music industry. Calderone began dabbling with turntables and other DJ-related gear when he was 15 years old. During his time away from club music, Calderone worked in the restaurant sector but was finally encouraged to concentrate on new projects, including his debut solo album, "Give It Up."
Calderone later returned to the top with "Are You Satisfied?" in 2001, which included Deborah Cooper on vocals. In addition to his work with Madonna and Sting, he has remixed songs for Beyoncé Knowles, Whitney Houston, Janet Jackson, and Sarah Brightman. Other house music producers with whom he has worked include Mac Quayle and, most notably, Peter Rauhofer, the first Grammy Award winner in the Dance Music category.
Calderone launched his Evolve brand in 2005 as a method to unite his various residencies across the world, including Montreal, Tel Aviv, Bulgaria, and a monthly residency at New York's Pacha, after a lengthy series of hit albums and singles. As the Evolve brand has grown in popularity worldwide, clubgoers have come to associate the term with joy-inducing.
