Nau'Jour Lazier Grainger (January 9, 2000), professionally recognized as Toosii, is an American artist specializing in rap, singing, and songwriting. He was born and grew up in Syracuse, New York. His stage name was derived from his childhood nickname "Toota," which he altered to Toosii when his football buddies joked about it.
Toosii achieved significant recognition in 2019 after his song "Red Lights" was released, garnering impressive streams. Subsequently, on April 30, 2019, he unveiled his musical compilation titled "Who Dat" as a mixtape, which ultimately followed the release of the 13-track "Platinum Heart" mixtape on February 7, 2020.
Upon its first release, the album "Platinum Heart" ranked top on the Billboard Heatseekers Album list. Afterward, the mixtape underwent reissuance in the form of a deluxe edition with 20 tracks. The album "Poetic Pain" was published on September 18, 2020, marking the artist's third album linked with South Coast Music Group. This album peaked at no.17 on the 200 billboard and served as his inaugural effort under Capitol Records.
Toosii's sixth mixtape, "Thank You for Believing," was published on May 7, 2021. The tape's title expresses appreciation towards people who believed in him and contributed to his current achievements. The album comprises a total of thirteen tracks and includes collaborations with Mulatto, Key Glock, and DaBaby. He was included in the XXL Freshman Class of 2021.
