Tipper Information
David Tipper or Tipper (1976) is a British producer and composer. He was born in Wimbledon, London. He was discovered when he was a teenager while he was DJing in a nightclub in London. Sony UK signed Tipper to their fledging dance music label called Higher Ground. He also completed numerous remix projects. Tipper released his debut album in 1999 entitled, The Critical Path.
Tipper released his second album, Holding Pattern, in early 2001. Many of the individual tracks from the album found their way into DJ boxes internationally. According to the album’s release, Tipper started touring extensively through Australia, Europe, and the United States. In the late 1990s, he and his long-time friend, Mike Wallis, formed a group called Crunch. The duo released several EPs and two albums together.
Tipper released his first-ever Surround Sound album entitled “Cell: Five,” which was released under his guise of “Correctional Facilities.” Tipper also composed songs while touring across the United States in 2003. He released his third album, The Critical Path, in 2000. Other albums released by Tipper include Tip Hop (2005), Relish the Trough (2006), The Seamless Unspeakable Something (2006), Tertiary Noise (2008), Wobble Factor (2008), Broken Soul Jamboree (2010), Forward Escape (2014), and Jettison Mind Hatch (2019).
Tipper has released several EPs such as Six Pack (1997), Bassgunner (1997), Twister (1998), L.E.D. Down (1999), Dissolve (Out) (2000), Snake Eyes (2011), Bubble Control (2011), Puzzle Dust (2012), Shatter Box (2012), Dusty Bubble Box (2013), and Fathoms (2015).
