The Coulee Boys fuse folk, punk, bluegrass, and rock & roll into their style of Americana. They sing their conversational tunes in four-part harmony, with banjo stomps and rhythm section punches that entice the audience to the dance floor and into the community. Their dependable van has taken them thousands of miles across the country, bringing them into the hearts of strangers.
The band has earned international attention and press in American Songwriter and The Bluegrass Situation, tours with TBT, and a spot on the songwriter's Cayamo Cruise. They've released three full-length albums, and an EP, the most recent is Die Happy (on Lo-Hi Records, produced by Dave Simonett of Trampled By Turtles). Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Band chose them to Watch in 2020, and the Wisconsin Area Music Industry nominated them for a band of the year. When the world came to a halt in early 2020, the band hunkered down in their rehearsal room and began writing, which is their brand new album, Namesake.
