The Sleepy Rubies Information
Sleepy Rubies is a St. Louis act that landed a coveted spot at LouFest in 2017. This indie-folk duo features two sisters, Ali Ruby (vocals, piano) and Emily Wallace (vocals, acoustic guitar). Sleepy Rubies released its debut EP entitled Great Big Love in July 2016. A few months later, the sister duo found itself performing at LouFest.
The two sisters have been writing songs since they were in high school. In 2018, they dropped a new extended play entitled "Big Mountain." As Sleepy Rubies' sound is growing with the time, the sisters are getting even more polished. They are mainly into writing happy love songs relevant to them and South St. Louis.
