The Raleigh Ringers Information
The Raleigh Ringers is a handbell choir founded in 1990 and based in Raleigh, North Carolina. Its director, David M. Harris, founded the handbell choir. The Raleigh Ringers is also not affiliated with any church or religious institution. They perform interpretations of popular, sacred, and secular music, including rock 'n' roll tunes arranged for handbells. T
The handbell choir has delivered performances in 39 states and the District of Columbia, and countless cities of England, Canada, and France. The ensemble is known to play on the most extensive set of handbell or handbell-like instruments worldwide. They use 36½ octaves that are composed of 494 individual pieces of special equipment.
The Raleigh Ringers Series is a part of a collection of advanced handbell musicians. The series highlights original arrangements and compositions that are becoming for a live performance. The Raleigh Ringers also performs a two-hour-long program that is in syndication with American Public Television.
The Raleigh Ringers have released two videos and six CDs in total. The Raleigh Ringers were nominated for a Midsouth Emmy for the "Entertainment" category in 2014.
