The Happy Fits is an American alternative trio from Clinton, NJ. Founded in 2016, the group consists of Luke Davis - Drums / Vocals, Ross Monteith - Guitar / Vocals, and Calvin Langman - Cello / Vocals. The trio began as a casual summer project for high school friends before going off to college. They released their debut EP in 2016, which was entitled Awfully Apeeli. The EP took off on Spotify during their first semester.
The Happy Fits released their second album in 2018 entitled Concentrate. Their third album was What Could Be Better’s collection of crowd-pleasers by the group members. “No Instructions” was the most prominent hit single included in the record. “Moving” was another single from the album that deployed Beach Boys-inspired harmonies for a classically feel-good sound.
Over time, The Happy Fits enjoyed more significant success. The trio was featured in many supporting acts like This Wild Life and the Frights. The Happy Fits is well-known for its joyous and engaging performances, and the group member’s sense of camaraderie is well-reflected in the songs. The Happy Fits work with The Happy Fits Records and The Diamond City Records.
