It is a spit from America’s Rust Belt that arises from a night of flophouse violence. The band performs all across the United States. The Goddamn Gallows left everything behind in 2007 and spent almost four years living outside of the vehicle that would get them to the next town.
The Goddamn Gallows began picking up stray musicians along the way and added them to their sound. The band reinvented themselves in 2018 with The Trial, where they explored music from punk rock, rockabilly, and psychobilly to metal and bluegrass. The Trial infused different sounds well. They blended the music into a new and strange recipe of the seamless genre that bends profundities.
The band is full of the shocking variety in impromptu antics as well as hauntingly eclectic instrumentation. They have made a massive fanbase with their legendary live shows. The band’s current lineup consists of Mikey Classic (guitar and vocals), Fishgutzzz (shouts and bass), Baby Genius (drums and screams), and Jayke Orvis (vocals, mandolin, banjo, and screams).
